Information
Privacy policy and GDPR notice.
This website is a portfolio demonstration — Zielona Pergola is a fictional restaurant and the site showcases what a modern restaurant website can do. The forms, however, really work: they demonstrate the full journey of an enquiry, so below you will find honest information about what happens to the data you enter.
Data controller
The controller of the data entered in the forms is the author of this portfolio project. Privacy matters: please use the form on the Contact page.
What data and why?
By sending a form (contact, catering, reservation, order or newsletter sign-up) you share the data you enter: full name, e-mail address, possibly a phone number, delivery address and your message. The data is processed solely to demonstrate how the website works: the enquiry goes to the project author and a sample reply or confirmation is sent to your address. Reservations land in a demo calendar, not at a real restaurant.
Legal basis and retention
Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the consent box and sending the form. Providing data is voluntary. Demo data is deleted periodically and is not used for any other purpose — in particular not for marketing.
Recipients
Handling submissions relies on technical services: website hosting (GitHub Pages), an automation platform (n8n) and e-mail (Google). Data is never sold or shared for advertising purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict its processing and withdraw consent at any time — just send a message via the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses no tracking cookies and no analytics tools. It only relies on essential browser storage: remembering your order basket, your decision to dismiss the privacy notice, and the app-mode (PWA) cache. This information stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.
Contact
For privacy matters, please use the form on the Contact page, or write directly to piotr.aparat@gmail.com — a real, active mailbox belonging to the project's author; only the restaurant itself and its details are fictional.
